In case you haven’t heard, the first Theatrical Trailer to ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ will be shown Exclusively in front of ‘Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows’ on December 16th. You can see the Trailer only in Theaters, not IMAX. Now for all you IMAX fanatics, Christopher Nolan is releasing the 6 Minuet Prologue to ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Exclusively in front of ‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’ IMAX Prints; also released on December 16th. Now the Prologue can only be seen on ’70mm’ IMAX and not ‘Digital’ IMAX. If you do not know wether you have a ’70mm’ IMAX or ‘Digital’ IMAX near your home, we recommend you call your IMAX theaters and ask them if they are a ’70mm’ or ‘Digital’ IMAX. ’70mm’ IMAX is when the Screen is as as tall as a skyscraper. ‘Digital’ IMAX is usually found at Theaters such as Cinemark, AMC, etc… Christopher Nolan stated the Prologue is the Introduction to the character ‘Bane’; Similar to ‘The Dark Knight’ prologue introducing ‘Joker’ in the Infamous Bank Robbery scene. Batman fans should anticipate December 16th as we will finally get to see more footage of Christopher Nolan’s Final ‘Epic’ Batman Film. So which will you be seeing that day or weekend?
