Jerry Robinson creator of the Joker, Robin and many more; died Wednesday Dec 7th, he was 88. An amazing man and creator of one of two the most prolific characters of all time, he will be greatly missed. NY Times posted a great write up about Jerry here is a qoute from their article with Jerry talking about How he feels about Villians:
“Villains, I always thought, were more interesting, I think the name came first: the Joker. Then I thought of the playing card.” (His parents were bridge players).
