Actor Massi Furlan did an interview with the Examiner about his upcoming role in “Dark Knight Rises”. There are a couple intresting things of note in this interview this qoute especially:
“I was a stand up comedian in Italy. I guess Americans; they don’t find me funny because yeah I get cast as a villain most of the time. 99.5% of the time,” says Furlan. “The villain is very memorable. I’m not complaining about the stereotype.”
Could Furlan be playing just a mob boss like Falcone or a bigger villian like Roman Sionis aka the Black Mask or maybe Deadshot? The internet is a buzz, my vote is people are reading too much into it and he probably is just one of Bane’s mercs, but only time will tell. However it’s not the biggest stretch that he could be a cameo villain much like Victor Zsasz was in Batman Begins.
