Greg Pak (writer) held an interview with Cosmic Book News and he dishes out what to expect from the new Batman & Superman comic book. He states this about the two characters during their first appearance together in the new comic book:
They’re young and raw and cocky and, frankly, dangerous. We’ve seen great writers in the
past depict their relationship as wary and guarded — that great Byrne story in which Batman makes a kind of crazy bomb threat is a prime example. But these young heroes are even more unpredictable. In particular, the young New 52 Superman is much cockier and more rash than any other Superman I can recall. Throw him together with Batman and sparks are absolutely going to fly. I will reveal, however, that Clark and Bruce will absolutely come face to face.
So if Superman is young and cocky, then Batman is super freaking secretive as hell! More or less, this comic book will take place five years ago like when the two superheroes first started out. Greg Pak has his work cut out for him. Down the line, Pak will introduce Jimmy Olsen and the Robins but it’s too soon for Superman and Batman to be introduced to them yet.
