Gerard Way, best known as the front man for, the now disbanded, My Chemical Romance, went on a bit of a bat-tweeting last night. He shared with his followers art from a now dormant Batman project he pitched for Vertigo. Titled ‘Kingdom of the Mad,’ it seems Way had some interesting ideas for The Caped Crusader.

He went on to share some of the concept art of his would-be limited series, which apparently would have featured The Joker, and Mr. Freeze.
While many have varying opinions about Way’s music, his foray into comics has been well received. I for one would love to see his take on The Dark Knight, as different interpretations of Batman are becoming as much a part of his character as his deceased parents. What do you guys think?
