Infinite Crisis Profiles Catwoman

Infinite Crisis, WB’s forthcoming Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA), now profiles the cat-burglar seductress, Catwoman.

Infinite Crisis is knee-deep in Beta testing at the moment, which may be the reason why the YouTube updates on Champion profiles have slowed down considerably. The last one we got was over two months ago, but since the last one was the Bats himself, I suppose Turbine Studios felt that a Champion Profile as big as Batman’s should tide us over for a bit. And they were right.

Before that, however, we received weekly Champion profiles on Justice Leaguers CyborgWonder Womanthe FlashGreen LanternZatanna, and Shazam. Of the villains revealed thus far, we’ve got Poison Ivythe Joker, and Doomsday. And of course, the alternate dimension-ers include Gaslight BatmanJoker, and Catwoman, Nightmare Batman, Arcane Green Lantern, and Atomic Wonder Woman.

This week, we’ve got Catwoman.

I’m not quite sure what I expected from Catwoman, but I gotta say that I’m slightly disappointed by her. By no means, is she a bad character, though. On the contrary, she’s a technical character and relies on your wits and ability to strategize, which makes her dangerous in the right hands. I, myself, prefer the all-offensive brawler types, so she’s just not my cup of tea. I’m definitely detecting some voice -acting there, so I’m hoping that they brought back Grey DeLisle, but I’m not holding my breath.

Turbine Studios are currently developing Infinite Crisis. There is no set release date for the game, but beta testing has officially begun. You can sign up here.

If you’re involved in the Beta testing, how do you think Catwoman plays? Did you have any other expectations for Catwoman? Let me know.
