Bermejo’s Influence on Batman

Minor details have been released on the upcoming Batman vs. Superman movie, and we’re taking anything we get with a grain of salt… unless it’s straight from Zack Snyder, David Goyer, or Warner Bros. However, Comic Book Movie is reporting that Lee Bermejo may have an influence on Batman’s head. They say that current cowl designs resemble The Dark Knight’s look in Batman: Noel, Bermejo’s personal project based on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.

All I can say is, PLEASE be true! Look at this:

How could this NOT be awesome? I hope Zack Snyder and company are looking to keep this Batman grounded in as much reality as possible, (but different from Nolan’s trilogy) and Bermejo’s Batman is about as close to real as you can get. I’ve been a big fan of his ever since his Joker story with Brian Azzarello, and always thought he was one of the great artists.

Look, I know this doesn’t mean much, but if the final result resembles anything close to this cowl… I think we’re in good shape Batfans.

What do you think?
