Rumor: Batman vs. Superman Batmobile Being Designed by GM’s Studio X, Finished by February

A new update regarding the Batman vs. Superman Batmobile surfaced, telling us that it is being designed by GM’s Studio X in Warren Michigan, with GM Advanced Design Studio putting the finishing touches on it in time for a February start date.

In late October, a source cropped up at BatmanOnFilm by the name of Dr. Detroit, promising what looked to be exclusive details on the Batmobile that will be featured in Batman vs. Superman. Though it wasn’t explicitly stated, the good doctor speculated that the Batmobile will likely be an “old Cadillac,” which was the brand of car that the Bats was seen commuting in, in the serials.

Well, the good doctor resurfaced with some new updates regarding its construction.

I was informed that the Batmobile is actually being designed and built in Warren, Michigan at GM’s famed ‘Studio X’ – the auto industry’s equivalent of Fort Knox. Or the first rule of FIGHT CLUB…

The Batmobile will then be finished at the GM Advanced Design Studio in North Hollywood by February. I believe this is where the car will be tested and stunt drivers trained before the car is transported back to Detroit for filming.

The doctor likens the facility to Fort Knox, which may or may not be the case. I did some light research and discovered GM’s Creative Studio X. The site features photos of nice cars and some blond dude that presumably is the founder of the company. The domain name is registered to .co.za, which, with additional research, tells me that it’s located in South Africa… Is this the right one? You tell me. No, seriously. Tell me. I don’t have a clue who any of these people are.

What do you think? Are you excited to see a brand new Batmobile? Let me know.
