Honestly, I really can’t say any more than what’s already been said a gazillion times over and over again about Batman: The Animated Series. It’s probably one of the best, if not the best animated representation of Batman that has ever graced the TV screen. Of course, part of that was the rich and emotionally-driven score. Way back in 2012, La-La Land Records released information about their Batman: The Animated Series – Original Soundtrack From The Warner Bros. Television Series, Volume Two. (Volume One was released in 2008!)
Well, 2 years later, in celebration of the Bats’ 75th anniversary, La-La Land Records is FINALLY rolling out Batman: The Animated Series – Original Soundtrack From The Warner Bros. Television Series, Volume Three. The four-disc set, comprising 20 episodes worth of music, is set to release in two days, October 7th. The set will be available on La-La Land’s official website.

Based on the price of Volume Two, I’m guessing it’s going to retail around $60 USD. You can grab Volume One here and Volume Two here, in preparation for this release.
Spying some of my favorite episodes in there, like “Robin’s Reckoning,” “Dreams in Darkness,” and “The Man Who Killed Batman.” Even has the iconic “I am the Night.” Though I don’t have the cash for it, I hope some Batfan will get it and I can live vicariously through them.
