Spoiler Alert! Images of Gotham By Midnight #2 have surfaced. Evil has emerged and Detective Jim Corrigan (Spirit) and Sergeant Rook are face to face with the supernatural that looks to do them harm, but they are not the only ones having a hard time.
Internal Affairs Agent Rook is learning the Midnight Shift really does have the hard cases – and Jim Corrigan may not be able to bail him out. At least, not without some divine intervention! But can Corrigan risk letting loose the wrath of God, especially against a departed sister?
I’m slowly liking this new comic series. Normally I don’t care for the supernatural lore in Batman comics. But being that this is taking place in Gotham and it’s not directly a Batman comic, but is a team that was put together to handle Gotham’s weirder supernatural cases, I can give this a try. Writer Ray Fawkes is telling an interesting story so far . I’m not too keen on Ben Templesmith’s art, but for the direction and the overall feel of this comic I think it works. Expect to see Gotham By Midnight #2 hit stands December 24th.
