Those that enjoyed Will Arnett’s performance as the blocky Dark Knight in The Lego Movie were no doubt pleased to find out that Batman would be given his own spin-off. Well, thanks to Variety, we finally know when said spin-off will arrive in theaters: February 10, 2017. Not much is known about the movie – including the title – so stay tuned to DKN for all the latest news as the release date draws near.
Other Lego movies on the way include: a Ninjago spin-off (September 22, 2017) and The Lego Movie Sequel (May 18, 2018).
“We are very excited about dating our upcoming Lego animated features, which already have a worldwide fan following, built on the foundation of the first film,” said Dan Fellman, president of domestic distribution at Warner Bros. “These three films already in the pipeline are just the beginning of a creative and diverse animation slate that will be delighting audiences for years to come.”
