We have a new plot synopsis for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, courtesy of the Las Vegas Licensing Expo. It’s pretty much what we all expected, though it is cool to get some official word. Here you go:
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
It affirms the influence of Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns graphic novel, yet also confirms a greater threat. Honestly, I believe it to be someone – or something – deadlier than Lex Luthor. Time will tell.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theaters March 25, 2016.
