LEGO Announces New ‘Batman v. Superman’ Sets

LEGO recently took to twitter to unveil a poster confirming that they will be jumping on the merchandise bandwagon for the upcoming Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. While it’s natural, given LEGO’s previous success with both Marvel and DC, it had yet to be confirmed until now. The sets will hit stores in 2016 to coincide with the release of the film.

LEGO will be joining the already announced JAKKS Pacific in the merchandising camp for the film, as that company recently revealed a licensing agreement to cover action figures and other relating toys to tie into the film.

While it could naturally be assumed LEGO would have a hand in merchandising for the upcoming blockbuster, kids and fans alike will be glad to have confirmation.
