Zack Snyder has dropped a few new details on the Batmobile–in particular in comparison with the Dark Knight trilogy’s tumbler–after introducing a new clip for the film on Conan.
Says Snyder,
“First of all, when we were working on the movie and we were like ‘We’re going to put Batman in the movie, that’s cool,’ I said ‘We need a Batmobile, right?’ Because if you’re the smallest amount of a dork you want to make a Batmobile, right? That seems like the first thing you want to do. I think the cool thing that we try to do, you’ve seen the Chris Nolan Batman movies and the Tumbler, they repurposed a military vehicle. So the cool thing about our Batmobile is it is purpose-built by Bruce Wayne to be the Batmobile, it allows it to be slightly Battier.”
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25.
