The latest bit of Batman v Superman tie-in marketing is rather interesting because it contains footage we haven’t previously seen. In this Jeep Renegade ad, Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne does his best Canyonero as he braves the streets of Metropolis during the battle between Superman and Zod.
I enjoy scenes like this because you see Affleck capture the determination, heroism, and sheer selflessness that Batman possesses, regardless of whether or not he’s in costume. It’s just one more piece of evidence indicating this movie will give us the most comic book accurate Batman on the silver screen to date.
