Dreams are coming true as WB has announced the first bit of casting news for the upcoming DC animated movie, Batman: The Killing Joke. Based on Alan Moore and Brian Bolland’s seminal graphic novel, this particular adaptation is sure to be a must have for any Batfan.
Each voice actor who has been announced is certainly no stranger to DC animation:
Kevin Conroy – Batman/Bruce Wayne
Mark Hamill – The Joker
Tara Strong – Barbara Gordon/Batgirl
Ray Wise – Commissioner Gordon
Furthermore, Hamill tweeted the first image from the film. Check it out!

While no release date has been given, expect the film to arrive on Blu-Ray and DVD sometime this summer. My educated guess is that of late July, shortly after San Diego Comic Con.
