‘Batman v Superman’ Deleted Scene Teases Lex Luthor and [SPOILERS!]

Batman v Superman gave fans a bunch of teases for the future Justice League movie, but there is a deleted scene that reveals one more tease. Suffice to say, Batman v Superman spoilers for those who dare continue.

The deleted scene takes place when Lex Luthor is doing Kryptonian experiments with General Zod’s body. A group of SWAT members are entering the crashed Kryptonian ship to hunt for Luthor. They then step into the experimentation chamber with Luthor and a huge god-like being.

Standing in the middle of the chamber is what appears to be Steppenwolf with Mother Boxes surrounding him. In the comics, Steppenwolf is one of Darkseid’s elite guardsmen. His presence in the scene implies that he was in communication with Luthor. This yet another tease of Darkseid, one of many in Batman v Superman, such as Batman’s nightmare sequence. Hopefully this scene leads to what eventually be Darkseid and his crew appearing in the Justice League movie.
