Cover Art for ‘Batman v Superman’ Ultimate Edition Reportedly Revealed

Batman v Superman live red carpet darkknightnews

The theatrical release and historic event known as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has come and went. While its weekly box office earnings are slowly dwindling, we can look forward to its home media release. Last week, someone managed to leak the extras that will be featured in the Ultimate Edition of BvS, which will be the 3-hour long, R-rated version of the flick.

It looks like the Amazon listing for it went up, revealing the cover art. The listing looks like it has been taken down, but like most things on the Internet, anything important never really disappears.

Here’s the cover art:

This photo comes from Comicbook.com and they’ve linked a Amazon.it listing. In some cases, different regions get different marketing materials and BD/DVD covers, so this could easily just be the Italian version of the Ultimate Edition, while the North American version may be a little different. I’m not particularly pleased with it considering the awesome marketing they’ve released for this movie thus far.

As it reads in the photo, this will be the combo pack featuring a the 4K Ultra HD, plus your standard Blu-ray with digital copy. Last month, Amazon began taking pre-orders for a Collector’s Edition that included either a Batman or Superman statue.

The set is expected to be released July 15th.
