The Flash Finds His Director

The Scarlet Speedster is back on track.

According to Deadline, Warner Bros. has found a new fit for their upcoming superhero film The Flash.

Rick

Rick Famuyiwa, who’s 2015 film Dope was a Sundance hit, will direct the new film which stars Ezra Miller. The movie has a release date slated for March 16, 2018.

The project has been in need of some good news after getting off to a rocky start this year. Ezra Miller’s cameos in Batman v Superman didn’t necessarily light the world on fire and the film’s writer and original director, Seth Grahame-Smith, left after creative differences with the studio.

Maybe it’s the

rebirth that the DC films needed.
