WB Releases TV Spots for ‘Suicide Squad’

With only two months until release, WB has got to amp up their marketing. Hitherto, we’ve had three trailers. One released at Comic-Con, one released online, and the last via MTV. For those who stayed off the Internet, you should now start hearing about Suicide Squad. TV Spots have started making their way to the airwaves.

I saw a few, but I barely pay attention to my TV when it is on these days. However, the Internet is a powerful marketing tool, so although they were meant to and are currently airing on the TV, you can catch it on YouTube.

Take a look:

The first one seems like an abridged version of the first trailer, featuring Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” It has a few new shots, but it’s so condensed, that if you blink, you’ll miss it. There’s one really neat shot with Katana’s pupils dilating, presumably to start kicking some butt right after.

The second is pretty straightforward and features some Batman and a lot of Harley Quinn. I’m excited.

Suicide Squad hits theatres on August 5th.
