In anticipation of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition coming to Digital HD, Warner Bros. re-released the original Batman movies with new box art.
The box art on Tim Burton’s Batman and Batman Returns and Joel Schumacher’s Batman Forever and Batman and Robin films will have an updated look on Digital HD services. Then new artwork features a headshot of Batman with the relevant movie’s main villain in the background, with the curious exception of Batman Forever for some reason.
While the updated box art is pretty neat, in my opinion, it still cannot beat the simple bat-symbol box art from when the movies were released on Blu-Ray a couple of years ago. Now those were pretty boss.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits Digital HD June 28, 2016 and Blu-ray Combo Pack, Ultra HD, and DVD on July 19, 2016.
