300 New Screens Added for ‘Batman: The Killing Joke’ Theatrical Showings

In a move that’s fairly surprising (at least to me) Fathom Events has added over 300 screens for the one-night-only theatrical showing of Batman: The Killing Joke. That would make this the widest release for any Fathom Events showcase ever.

The Killing Joke has built up a lot of excitement from fans, as it not only tells one of the all-time great Batman stories, but reunites Batman: The Animated Series heavyweights Bruce Timm, Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill.

Fans who attend the screening will be treated to a special introduction by Hamill plus an exclusive documentary on the actor’s passion for this project and story.

The highly anticipated animated film will screen for one night only on Monday, July 25th. It will be available for digital download on July 26th before its DVD/Blu-ray release on August 2nd.
