‘Suicide Squad’ Gets Extended Treatment – UPDATE

Suicide Squad Banner

Similar to when fans were treated to an Ultimate Edition of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we now receive word that Warner Entertainment will release an extended version of Suicide Squad.

While director David Ayer has stated that the release to theaters was his “final cut,” this extended version will feature additional scenes. Check out the trailer, which features more of Harley and “Mr. J.”

Suicide Squad is scheduled for digital release on November 15th and Blu-ray on December 13th. It’s not yet known if the rating will change with the release from “PG-13” to “R” as with Batman v Superman.
