Christina Hodson to Write Harley Quinn/Birds of Prey Movie

According to unconfirmed sources from The Wrap, Christina Hodson–writer of the upcoming Transformers spinoff movie Bumblebee–will be taking on the female-driven DCEU film, which as of yet still has no official title.

The feature is said to be produced by Margot Robbie who will also star, of course reprising her role as Harley Quinn, which she previously played in Suicide Squad. The Australian actress set her sights on this project after falling in love with DC’s great female characters.

For awhile, this was rumored to be a Harley Quinn solo movie before it was revealed that it would feature several DC female heroes and villains, including the iconic female superteam Birds of Prey

Still, relatively little is known about the project at this point in time, so we will keep you informed as more about this mysterious film develops.
