Jason Momoa On His Favorite Justice League Member

Jason Momoa On His Favorite Justice League Member Dark Knight News

“Hi. I’m Jason Momoa. I have a show called Frontier. It’s coming out January 20th. It’s about me. And I’m bloody. And I’m covered in fur. And you should watch it. Thanks.”

While many may know actor Jason Momoa as the powerful Khal Drogo from HBO’s Game of Thrones, the 37-year-old is currently tackling one of the biggest roles of his career: Aquaman. Laugh if you will – Aquaman is usually considered the punching bag of DC Comics, however this new rendition from Momoa will certainly make fans and haters alike scared of the deep ocean. On top of this, acclaimed horror director James Wan (best known for his work on Saw, The Conjuring and Insidious) will be taking the helm for 2018’s Aquaman solo flick, so you better stay out of the water if you know what’s good for you.

Recently, Momoa sat down with The Hollywood Reporter for an interview about his new show Frontier, which is coming to Netflix in a few days, but talk turned to Justice League and Aquaman before long. When asked who his favorite member of the Justice League is, Momoa gave a surprising answer. Readers can check out the quote and the full interview below.

“Flash. Ezra Miller. The best person in Justice League? Yeah, he’s like my little brother.”

While Flash and Aquaman team-ups are few and far between, the pair have worked together closely as part of the Justice League since its inception way back in The Brave and the Bold #28 (March 1960), so to hear Momoa describe Miller as his “little brother” makes me wonder whether or not the pair will have any close interactions over the course of the DCEU. Our first look at both characters in action comes November 17th with Justice League, which will be followed by solo films for Aquaman and The Flash in 2018.
