‘LEGO Batman Movie’ Box Office Update: Week Two

The LEGO Batman Movie earned $34.2 million to its box office, making it the number one movie in North America again.

The film continued its strong Friday performance to gross $98.8 million in North America so far. Additionally, it is expected to take in a haul of $45 million thanks to the three-day Presidents Day weekend. This beats out newcomers like The Great Wall and pushes other box office contender Fifty Shades Darker in a distant second.

On the international side, the flick grossed  $21.5 million this weekend.  The 62 foreign markets contributed to an overseas total of $72 million. When added up, the overall worldwide sum of $171 million.

The LEGO Batman Movie is now playing in theaters.
