Trailer Recuts ‘Batman v Superman’ As a Buddy Cop Movie

What if Batman v Superman was directed by late 80s Richard Donner? Then we would get this buddy cop fan trailer below.

Batman v Superman: Lethal Weapon?

The fan-cut by YouTube user ChiefBrodyRules edits footage from Batman v Superman, Robocop, Lethal Weapon 4, and other films into an over-the-top action flick. To top it off, he overlays the footage with some funky rap. The end result is a highly non-traditional buddy cop movie. Typically, buddy cop movies partner a straight-edge, by-the-books officer with a crazy, out-of-control cop. Of course, the big difference in this trailer is that the crazy cop is put together with an even crazier cop. Here, Superman is being reprimanded for destroying a building, so he is paired up with Batman who drives his car straight through an office. Say what you want about Batman v Superman, but it sure is a lot funner with eighties rap music.
