Suicide Squad director David Ayer replied to rumors of him being off Gotham City Sirens with a teasing tweet.
Ayer In or Out?
Reports claimed that Ayer is no longer involved with Gotham City Sirens and has been subtly voicing his discontent with Warner Bros. The current state of development of the flick is a mystery. More recently at Comic-Con, Warner Bros. neglected to include Gotham City Sirens on its roster of upcoming releases. Some fans speculated that the movie was not happening anymore. However, Ayer pushed back those rumors with a posting an image on his Twitter of Harley Quinn.

Ayer did not elaborate on what the image of Harley means. But, the tweet strongly implies that Ayer is still on board for Gotham City Sirens. The film is a spin-off of Suicide Squad, featuring Harley Quinn along with other female heroines.
