‘Gotham’ Season 4 Premiere Date Changed

Gotham seems to be riding high from some of their hype in recent weeks. First, it was announced that a villain from the beloved Long Halloween would appear in the next season. Then, at Comic-Con last weekend, they debuted the season 4 teaser, which gave us the Scarecrow. Not too long later, it was revealed by showrunner and executive producer John Stephens that they would approach the Scarecrow like a horror movie.

With the positive press drummed up, I suppose Fox decided to move up the premiere date for season 4. Last month, it was announced that season 4 would premiere on Thursday, September 28th. Well, a few days ago, it was announced that the premiere date had in fact changed to September 21st, one week earlier. I assessed that it was due the anticipation based on recent news. However, I was not able to find an official explanation.

But one cannot complain when we’re getting the show one week earlier!

Season 4 of Gotham will air on Fox, September 21st at 8PM EST.
