DC Reveals New “League Up” Poster for ‘Justice League’ Movie

At Comic-Con a few weeks ago, WB/DC revealed a massive four-minute sneak peek outlining the plot for Justice League. Along with the oversized trailer, fans were treated to a gorgoeus poster featuring the Leaguers (sans Superman) reminiscent of an Alex Ross painting. The slogan,”You Can’t Save the World Alone” spelled out with each hero’s insignia was featured prominently in the foreground.

It looks like that poster was a huge hit with everyone! DC has released a brand new poster that seemingly takes its content from the same photoshoot. Instead of posing them like Queen in their “Bohemian Rhapsody” music video, the Leaguers are positioned in a more realistic fashion, in a wider shot. It provides a more complete look at our favorite heroes. The background uses a new slogan, “League Up.”

League Up, squad!

Certainly a much better image, but I must saw, I really enjoyed the slogan treatment for the previous poster more. It was a little more clever. I wasn’t a big fan of their decision to slightly crop out the faces of Gal Gadot and Ezra Miller to hit the dimensions of a standard one-sheet. So, this was a welcome sight. The aesthetics of this photoshoot continue to impress me as the composition and lighting really couldn’t look any better.

What do you think?

Justice League hits theatres on November 17, 2017. It will star Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Jason Momoa, and at some point, Henry Cavill.
