Matt Reeves Optimistic About ‘The Batman’ Movie

The Caped Crusader is one of the most popular characters in modern pop culture. Batman has been portrayed by many different actors, the most recent being Ben Affleck in Batman V Superman: Dawn of JusticeSuicide Squad, and Justice League. Each of these shows Batman as part of an ensemble cast. There was, however, talk of the Dark Knight getting a solo movie. With Ben starring in, and directing the film. Affleck however, stepped away from the directing role, and Matt Reeves was brought in to replace him.

Since that announcement though, there has been little to no news on the production. So a fan took it upon themselves to ask Reeves how it was going on the film. See his answer below:

This response bodes well for the first solo Batman movie since Nolan’s iconic trilogy. Should Affleck reprise his role as the masked vigilante, which I certainly hope he does, he seems to be in good hands with Reeves at the helm. I have thoroughly enjoyed his portrayal of the bat in every performance, and I look forward to seeing him take on the solo project.
