SDCC 18: ‘Young Justice: Outsiders’ Trailer Released

The animated series Young Justice ended in 2013, however, fans’ numbers kept growing, even after cancellation and they kept demanding that the show be picked up for a third season.

The popularity of the series was so wild and the tenacity of its fanbase so loyal that finally, after five years, it was given another chance on the forthcoming DC Universe streaming service.

Pictures of the new season of Young Justice have been circulating, and rumors about its members, storyline and bad guys have been discussed by fans for years. Now, from DC Entertainment, here is the official, hugely anticipated, trailer for Young Justice: Outsiders!

The show seems to be continuing from exactly where it left off five years ago, and new characters are joining the show too. Darkseid, one of DC Comics’ greatest villains, a favorite in such series as Justice League, will be making an appearance in Young Justice.

The clips showing both Flash and Batman have me intrigued. Dr. Fate has also sparked my interest, as we know Zatanna’s father took his place.

Aqualad actor Khary Payton has this to say about Young Justice: Outsiders:

We’ve already recorded all 26 episodes. We’re just waiting for the animation to come back. I’ve already seen some of it. It looks great. I’m so excited… It is as twisty, and turny, and full of so many characters, I can’t wait for you guys to see it. You’re going to love it.

I will definitely be watching Young Justice: Outsiders when it airs on DC Universe in 2019.  What about you? Are you excited about Young Justice returning? Sound off in the comments below, and on our social media pages!
