Frank Miller Has a Message for Joe Manganiello

It's No Rumor: Joe Manganiello Cast As Deathstroke Dark Knight News

Deathstroke actor Joe Manganiello has shared a personalized message from comics legend Frank Miller on Twitter.

At the Keystone Comic Con, Manganiello snapped a picture of himself with Miller. The actor is seen holding a Dark Knight Returns print which boasts of a sketch of Batman’s head with the dedication, “Anytime, anywhere, Mr. Deathstroke.”

Needless to say, Miller seems to be giving the actor the Miller stamp of approval for his role of Deathstroke.

Manganiello and Deathstroke are Waiting

In the meantime, Manganiello as Deathstroke has not been seen since the end of Justice League. The movie’s stinger scene featured him meeting with Lex Luthor to plan a villain’s team of their own. Since then the actor has been cooling his heels for the next movie.

Rumors say that Deathstroke will be the main villain in the Matt Reeves’ Batman movie. However, given that this film’s current status is unknown, Deathstroke’s staying role seems to have been delayed.
