While the release date for Birds of Prey is still yet to be announced, we now have a start of production date. In an interview with Bionic Buzz, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, one of the stars of the movie, divulged when the production will begin principal photography. The actress, portraying Huntress in the film, tells the interviewer that the cameras won’t start rolling until January 2019. While this is excellent news, I’m looking forward to knowing the actual release date.
We still don’t know much about this film. There’s been very little news about story, or where it ties in with the current DCEU, if at all. With filming set to start at the beginning of next year, I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough.
If there’s one thing I’m sure of though, it’s that Winstead has certainly got the right look for Huntress. With all the talent surrounding the Birds Of Prey film, it should certainly deliver an excellent end product.
