Batwoman is firing up Twitter, and finally bringing attention to the Valentines Day saying “every man needs a Batwoman to his Batman”.

It means that every man needs a kick-butt lesbian cousin. Now that a member of the Bat-family is getting her own show, surely the Caped Crusader can’t be too far behind? His presence in the CW universe has been quiet, but apparent. In the most recent episode of The Flash, two characters stole an advanced, weaponized, Batmobile style super car from ARGUS. The vehicle is said to be a $24 million prototype. Wayne Tech is solely responsible for the weapons that include missiles and the ability to be invisible. Suspiciously, Bruce Wayne was missing during the theft.
With the Batwoman pilot episode in the works, it’s hard to not imagine the presence of more Bat-tech in the CW. Caroline Dries (The Vampire Diaries) will be in charge of overseeing the Batwoman show, with Greg Berlanti acting as executive producer. The director will be David Nutter, who has directed pilots of The Flash, Arrow, and Game of Thrones.
A short description of the heroine follows:
Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane (Ruby Rose) soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence. But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope
We have any filming or release date information yet, but Ruby Rose has made an astonishing impression. Batwoman is surely a one-of-a-kind vigilante.
As for the Batmobile, one can imagine the Dark Knight claimed back his vehicle. I’m sure the handsome, philanthropist CEO of Wayne Tech had to make a recall due to an environmental issue or other.
