Mark Hamill Tweets Birthday Wishes to the Joker

Article by Adam Poncharoensub

Marvel Studios celebrated the culmination of their decade-long set up in Avengers: Endgame this week, completely overshadowing anything else that happened. It’s very likely that if I was expecting, I would have missed the birth of my own child. Thankfully, my priorities are in line and I don’t have a family to distract me from Endgame (I promise you, this is a joke.)

And because of Endgame, I missed something very important and I’m going to assume it happened to you too. The Joker just recently celebrated his birthday a few days ago! Admittedly, I’m ashamed for not remember, but I’m very pleased with the person who reminded me. On April 25th, the Joker celebrated his 79th birthday! Thankfully, someone made sure to mark the occasion (This is an intended foreshadowing pun).

So while comic book fans both celebrated and mourned the events of Endgame, Mark Hamill made sure to inform the world of another important milestone. The one true voice of the Joker took to Twitter to wish the Clown Prince of Crime a very happy birthday.

HBD, Mistah J!

Check out his Tweet below:

Once again, this tweet proves that Mark Hamill is an American treasure to be cherished. He is a fan just like you and me. If I ever have the honor of meeting him, I think I would cry harder than when my child was born. (Again, I don’t have any kids. Believe it or not, I am trying to be funny.)

Happy Belated Birthday to one of my favorite characters in all of literature. The Batman really wouldn’t be as interesting without his arch-nemesis.

Also, there’s a Joker origin movie coming out this year. Todd Phillips’ Joker hits theatres on October 4, 2019.
