Warner Media’s New Streaming Service Will Not Change DC Universe

Article by Philip Clark

It seems to be a trend of massive companies starting their own streaming services. The likes of Apple and Disney have added themselves to the list of these, with Apple TV+ and Disney+ respectively. Now Warner Media‘s new streaming service, the merger between Warner Bros. Entertainment and Time Warner, are adding their name to the list.

A heap of new information on the service has arrived, including a name; HBO Max. Warner Media have decided to stand out amongst their competition by not going with the “Plus” name. Unfortunately, prices are yet to be released, but it’s estimated to be slightly more than the $14.99 that HBO’s current offering HBO Max is currently set to launch in Spring 2020, with over 10,000 hours of content.

Warner have also stated that DC Universe, HBO Now, HBO Go and CW Seed will not be affected by the newcomer.

The following is a short promotional video that covers all the bases:

All Of The Content!

HBO Max will include content from a lot of different entertainment companies. Including; HBO, Warner Bros., New Line Cinema, DC Entertainment, CNN, The CW and even Cartoon Network! On top of all that, you can be expecting a lot of originals too! Productions from the infamous Greg Berlanti, as well as Joss Whedon and even J.J. Abrams and Jordan Peele.

Not only that, but classic content like Friends and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air will also be available.
